I supposed there have been a few threads around this topic, but I cannot find any.
My FAC is open.
I have a .308 bolt action rifle with mod for deer in the UK. It's great, I love it. I would like an unmoderated lever action BLR in .308 for wild boar here in the UK and in Europe. I would also use the .308 BLR for deer too in the UK when the conditions suited it better. Would I be allowed this on my FAC? Or is it not seen a different enough to warrant such a variation of two rifles in the same caliber? The other thing is that I shoot well with .308 and don't want to start a flinch or other with a heavier caliber in the BLR. So different golf clubs, same bang is the concept.
Any experience or ideas?
