Has BASC/NGO got tyre offers on?

Perhaps theres a good deal somewhere?

COSTCO ?

215 60 R16 and probably looking for at least a winter tyre if not an AT style. For AWD Forester estate

Toptips would be appreciated.

I've found blackcircles or openeo are usually cheapest depending what it is you're after.

Make your choice of tyre first then find the best price. Plenty of reviews out there. If all terrain, Yokohama geolander take some beating and they're great in snow/ice.

Thanks, they are my first choice and subaru recommended but have an open mind.

Drive mainly A roads of up to 1 hr at a time, then country lanes and tracks, with around 4 trips to Scotland per year.

I dont intend (but you never know) driving vehicle to the deer to extract-drag to nearest track. Thanks

Had Yoko Geolandars on Hilux for a bit now, and very impressed. Really as good if not better on road than OEM, and have done well in some varied off-road including wee bits of boggy moorland.
Oponeo always worth a look, and always bear in mind fully fitted versus best deal for fitting/disposal you can get through your locals etc.

I'm after new set for the hilux any thoughts? Had BF's AT's on the old vehicle very good. Looking at other options Maxxis wormdrive, Toyo open country Yokoharma geolander, or General grabber. Mostly forest roads, & fields. Thanks in advance.

And here is a silly question…: with funds being tight, as welding is a priority for mot…..

I need to replace front two road tyres…. Rear two have loads of life.

Any issues replacing front two with geolanders and then rear two in a while ? when funds are healthier…

Aspect ratio might be a touch larger but look on Demon Tweeks for Toyo Open Country A/T PLus. Good tyres and cheap. They will have tons of other options for both winter or off road A/T's

Also been looking at tyres the BASC members offer as i looked at it is just to local tyre dealers participating in the scheme could not see a discount code or voucher so could not see any savings over the normal price, better prices at the likes of blackcircle or even Asda.

I was considering rejoining after a hiatus if there was sufficient discount. There isnt amd I wont.

I’ve got 4 wheels with winter tires on that are up for grabs. They were bought for my wife’s Subaru and have had a winters road use. I’ll check out sizes etc if you’re interested.

I had the same and spoke to BASC. You have to click the "buy" button, then the discount (about 10% for me) is applied. I also found that the 3 nearest dealers are not always the cheapest, and that putting in a slightly different postcode gave 3 different tyre dealers, one of which was a fair bit cheaper than the original selection.

Been shopping around only a few ££ between Asda / blackcircle, think will give that Toyo open country AT a go🤞
