Tyson Vs. Paul

Watching the training clips, Tyson is still lightning quick, both with his hands and on his feet. By contrast, Paul was plodding around like Herman Munster.

Who will win? Anybody's guess really. It'll all depend on what Tyson has got I suspect. His MO back in the day was to be really quick in past his longer reaching opponent's defence to let go with his big guns. I suspect he's got his big hits still, but whether his ability to be quick enough is still there to get in is maybe the question. Paul is a total ar*e, but if Tyson hasn't got that attacking ability, there'll be only one outcome. Although one punch from Tyson could always alter everything.

They guesstimated 4am fight time. 2 minutes rounds could be a benefit for Tyson- I plan to watch it, then go stalking 😊.

Sadly Paul is the much bigger draw. Arguably he's currently the number 1 draw in boxing right now as his "fan base" isn't the traditional boxing fan base. Anyone under 40 probably won't have seen Tyson fight live and anyone under 50 probably never saw the prime tyson.

Everyone hates on Paul but he's a very shrewd businessman and to be fair to him he's got some of the best guys in the world working with him in camp so its not like he's just twiddling his thumbs though. Grass roots boxing has always been underfunded regardless of who's fighting near enough every boxing gym is nothing but a glorified cow shed with a ring and few bags in it.

What's mental is undercard fighters. Kudos to him for getting those fights together.

Im just too old fashioned, the fact that Pual is the no1 draw in boxing sums up everything thats wrong in the modern world.

Why would any young promising kid go down the old route of hard work and amatuer bouts and then working way up to pro level.
Pauls idea of boxing is going to kill the sport, if fights are only between the most popular, better looking or who shouts the loudest.

I dont mind tech geniuses making millions inventing tech or programming it etc.
When they have a real skill, vison and dedication.
Its these 'influencer' folk i just cant stand that dont really have a proper skill and making forrunes of other peopkes backs.
Or OFans making 10's of thousands a month

My guess is, unfortunately, Paul will win. Tyson was one of the greatest in his prime 35 years ago but he was far past it 20 years ago.
Paul is miles from being elite but he is young, trained by good people and has troubled young professionals from various pugilistic backgrounds. Id love to see Tyson spark him but my guess is it won’t happen.
 
I think it’ll be fixed. In the real world Tyson would annihilate Jake Paul….but Paul will have paid Tyson to take a dive as the frenzy will keep media going for weeks.

Popular people always made the most money. Footballers, movie stars, singers. Just like Only Fans, they can only make money if there are people gullible enough to be entertained by them and willing to pay.

But it doesnae mesn it is right.

Seen a clip of tyson slappimg paul at the wiegh in.
Tyson down to his pants, while he looks in good shape, i was shocked just how old he looks.
really is an older mans body.
He still has that look in his eye thou.

I really would love him to flatten paul so badly u never ever hear from him again.
Sadly i doubt that will happen.

I do believe he will have tried to fix fight in his favour but seeing the clip i think it might just be old age that is the winner.

If JP wins ull never hear the end off it.
 
Did you watch the fight before, Taylor v Serrano, best fight I've seen for years, Serrano was robbed. I hadn't realised ladies boxing had developed so much.
As for Tyson and Paul, it looked like a youtuber trying to look like a boxer fighting an old man, fair play to Tyson for staying in there.
 
Got in from foxing early this morning watched the whole event kit and kaboodle from start to finish, the taylor v serrano was a fantastic event, it was relentless from start to finish, it should have been a draw IMHO they threw everything at each other 👍 brilliant fight

If Tyson had twenty years taken off his age, the result would have been completely different

All excellent entertainment I thought from start to finish

Apart fom the timing of it all I’m knackered now staying up all night its now bedtime 🤣 🛏️

Ladies boxings been amazing since they all turned pro after 2012 olympics. Given they can’t bang it’s a real technical bout more often than not. Seen taylor fight live a few times and she’s dazzling so fluid so quick. Think he best days are behind her now.
