I have six smallish permissions (50 to 160 acres) all local. All we have on them is roe but they closely border muntjac, fallow and reds. They just need to travel a bit further!

This is an interesting survey.
So far 5/6 - several Roe, Red, CWD and Muntjac (both sexes) only one Fallow.
Sika is the missing one and none in the areas I normally stalk - not much for tick lists but one of these days maybe.

Like many others I still have Sika to take, not even seen a live one. About ten years ago I went on JAYB’s ground next to the Dornoch for a couple of stalks with my brother, my brother shot a hind so I have seen one dead! I did see a big red stag but he was a couple of weeks out of season.
