Unconventional Sika Mount

Not wishing to steal @deerstalker.308 thunder with his lovely goat mount, a good friend has just done this for me and sent over a pic of the finished article. The beastie was a very old sika that had just lost a scrap (yes, I got the other too 🤣) and is just full of character so I thought he needed his space on the wall. My mate is a joiner and did the same with a really nice roebuck he got on mine. It isn’t for everyone but I must say I think it looks smart.

Funny someone sent me a picture of a roe done similarly when I was debating how to do the goat….!

One of you fellas should try to replicate this.. Too expensive for anyone In the UK to buy but an interesting gadget ($130 + Shipping) allows 360* movement, Want a skull upside down? You can do it.

Hi

Thank you for a very interesting idea to get some dusty skulls exposure in a fine way!
I did toy with using some marble off-cuts (have some weight) as a base - but seems difficult to get anyone to drill the required 6mm hole for my mounting system.......
