What’s a piece of kit that you think is the most underrated, and which doesn’t get the recognition it deserves compared to other ‘sexier’ bits of kit?

GoreTex socks. They turn the comfiest of footwear into welly boots. Warm gloves are also very appreciated in the colder months.

Bino harness has also been a game changer. Although do feel it gets a little in the way for a prone shot. I usually unclip one side of the harness and slide it out of the way at that point.

I don’t think .222 in under rated, or at least not on here! It and .270 are the two most genuinely loved cartridges on here.

Bino harness has also been a game changer. Although do feel it gets a little in the way for a prone shot. I usually unclip one side of the harness and slide it out of the way at that point.

Agree on the bino harness. A little trick I learned was if you keep your harness loose enough when you go prone pull your binos foward and you can use them as a rear bag when prone without removing them or unfastening them. It worked with my Alaska Guide Creations really well, but cannot guarantee it works with all bino harnesses.

As said, a sharp knife, all the ones I've had dont stay sharp long enough for my liking, ah well such as life.
