If you're looking at normal presses etc. then by the time you add in shipping and any duty/VAT for larger orders it's not really worth it.
Some of the more expensive progressive presses and "ammo plants" may work out a little bit cheaper but not by much.
However, if you're there for a visit it's certainly worth bringing stuff back, I picked up a new RCBS RockChucker for under £100
However, just be aware that bullets and cases are no longer allowed to be exported without the proper paperwork under ITAR

Not just bullets and cases. ITAR covers ammunition, components for the manufacture of ammunition, and all tools and equipment associated with the manufacturing of ammunition. Basically everything.
Having said that I regularly bring back all of the above (except ammo as there is now a separate law that prevents the sale of ammo to non US residents), and although every time my bags have been searched by TSA, nothing has ever been confiscated. You pays your money and takes your chance.

Why not try some of the European sites for prices. At the moment there will be nothing extra to pay once purchase and delivery are sorted.Shooting Supplies-EU is one that readily comes to mind as does egun.de.

Not necessarily so.... Just bought a most recent model Forster co-ax press and even with the import duty saved over £100 on UK prices!!!

Indeed, there's always a few things where we get really shafted on price over here
Looks like I'm putting off my next trip over to next year, maybe that nice Mr Trump will get round to relaxing ITAR for countries that are supposed to be their special friends and allies (I'm not holding my breath though).
Speaking of ITAR, as far as I can see non-commercial reloading equipment is still OK to bring back, if fact you can bring brass cases as well, but only if they're for shotguns!!, so that makes perfect sense (as usual).

I recently bought the world of Redding reloading dies etc for a 17 hornet 
plus some other items (well you only do it once for every calibre) from accuratearmsandammo, and including taxes it came in at slightly over £200 less than buying the same here (there was a lot of stuff though).
Also bought stuff direct from Leeprecision and saved around 30%.

Don't buy from Lee, buy from their Master Distributor in the same town!, Titan Reloading, much cheaper
