Yup. They can be monetised, but I tend to give them away to people as a bit of a bonus if they mention they have dogs when they collect carcasses from me. Always seem pleased to have them and much better for the dog than antler!

SD members often moan about the price they get from game dealers for the carcass so why not remove them first and sell on as a sideline?

Nothing new though - this from my local hardware store. I did wonder whether these had been tested as per DEFRA’s requirements for pet food.

No. Frozen.
Some people dry them, but I've had enough bother with my EHO over biltong, so I think she'd be apoplectic if she suspected I might use my dehydrator for legs!

Yep, I'm the same, just give them away, I've had people ask for ears and oesophagus as well, it does get me a few pints in the local, which makes it a pretty good deal

Well just salt them then, or freeze them, and sell them for £30 each to people who want to have a go at tanning them themselves, or bushcrafty types, or reenactors, or anyone really.

Just make sure when the wife comes home that the dog isnt sat chewing it on the new carpet..
