I've a new continental scope being delivered today.so I'll lob it on the 270 and let folks know how good or bad it appears to be

well its on the BSA Monarch .270 now.Looks peachy and i have to say its quite the piece of kit. cap threads tighten easily and securely.no risk of cross threading thereScope feels solid and is a handsome tool to look at. Most impressive thus far--the red dot!On my meopta optika i have on my bread and butter steyr .243 its really great-but-- on this supposedly inferior brand of scope the red dot is apparently visually encapsulated INSIDE the black centre dot so as to give the red dot a black halo--and its settings are ,i feel, BETTER on this new scope than on my Meopta for daylight use of said red dot.Now im off out later for a zeroing on the .270 so this is all cosmetic i suppose but thus far im really delighted.

Vector Optics Continental X6 3-18x50 SFP Rifle Scope – Fiber Illuminated Reticle. You cannot see the black halo round the red dot on this downloaded pic but i do like the way it encapsulated the red centre dot
