I have to admit my mistake my model is the 1200 "super" and not the "safari" as previously stated,
but here they all are.
the catalog is from 1968.
I tried to scan them but they came up as too large a files?
I left them as "thumbnails but a click on each will enlarge them, the various for-ends can hopefully be seen. :thumb: DSC00103.webpDSC00104.webpDSC00105.webpDSC00106.webpDSC00107.webp

Interesting, thanks.
I see that there's a listing for a "Safari Deluxe" model in various calibres in the price list, but the illustrated pages only show separate "Deluxe" and "Safari" models. Is there another page you haven't photographed?
The styling of both mine is most similar to the illustration and spec of the "African Safari" model illustrated, in so far as they both have the flag safety on the bolt, schnabel forend, floorplate mag, etc as listed in that rifle's description. However, neither have the small screw head (or whatever it is) showing on the side of the forend (just about in line with where the barrel chanel begins, I guess)as seems to be seen on most, if not all, of the models illustrated. What is that? I have always wondered!
Both are clearly marked "Safari Deluxe", although one (the 270) looks to be quite a bit older than the other (243). The 270 has a detachable floorplate with hidden release button (military style, I'm lead to believe), whereas the 243 has a hinged floorplate with release catch inside trigger guard, as described in the catalogue.

I don't know what I'm meaning, because I don't know what it is! If you look at the 3rd of Riddick's photos, the page showing the African Safari model, you'll see it clearly just behind the V of the rearmost part of the forend checkering.
Look at the first photo in this advert too, and you'll see clearly what I'm referring too. Always wondered what it is, as none of my rifles feature it.

no that's all the pages just as they are numbered in the catalog, there are further pages showing the 1200V "varmint" model, any many PH reworked 303 lee enfields, in addition to a few more pages on 22r sporters, s/auto and full target 22,s

Not a sign of their lightweight with shnable forend. I had one in 84 in 308 calibre.
