Vinyl Friday

A copy of the above was delivered yesterday. I know it wasn't Friday, but I commend the piece to lovers of late-Victorian drawingroom songmaking and The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam trans. E Fitzgerald.

Myself when young did eagerly frequent
Brothels and such: but not in Lent.

No, but seriously folks....

Love it! Dalua do you realise that by being so "un-cool" you have become "cool" and by me putting "cool" in commas I have made "cool" "un-cool" ad infinitum...Ace!

As per that underlined in the opening post of this thread any type of music is positively encouraged and notwithstanding the title there's no good reason to restrict contributions to Friday.

Great to have you posting Dalua and keep them coming.

All the best

I have a recording on CD of JB singing the Sea Pictures - sounds as though it might be the same one.

I heard her give a recital in the theatre at Birkenhead Tech some time in the late 80s. I think Geoffrey Parsons was at the piano, and rather oddly I cannot remember any of the program - though I do recall seeing Frank Field MP in the audience, whom I recognised because of my visits to his surgery in post-Hungerford lobbying mode.
