Thank you for the nudge here 'K'. A really original solo guitarist/singer/composer and electronic effects fiddler, John Martyn was plagued by the Devil Drink throughout his complicated life, but thankfully he left recordings of his unusual genius. I have several old vinyl pressings of his work that I had more or less forgotten about till this reminder....

I believe his unusual take on guitar electronic amplification and effects was more or less his own work. 'Way back when' I went to one of his concerts in London somewhere and was totally enthralled by his original sound. Thanks again Mr.'K' for the memory nudge!
