Made me think of this far from great album and not entirely related to the 1970's approach to male grooming:

It maybe far from great, but the guitar had every hair on my body standing on end, it strange how certain musicians have that effect om me. The 1970s glam rock thing was sort of beyond me, although I appreciated the artistry and musical innovations etc. A lot of them moved on a truly great musicians in my book and were often over looked by the mainstream. Mick was one such person.

It was the album rather than the track I consider to be a disappointment.

At the risk of over-simplification and an injustice to the relevant musicians I can't help feeling it comes down to this:

You might also add how an Artist is recorded and produced which has most certainly ensured the early retirement of any number of othewise very talented performers.
