I can remember as if it was yesterday driving north from Lancaster heading for Glasgow to a folk club to see Archie and others, in the passenger seat was a certain Hamish Imlach, he was waxing lyrical about a brilliant guitarist I had not heard of called Burt. That was in the days that a lot of musicians travelled by train or got lifts of others.
