Vinyl Friday

Needed something to lift the spirit on this bleak Friday morning and as compounded by the content of a number of SD threads and the news in general.

This is a cracking BBC session from a couple few will have heard of and is, IMHO, the best thing they committed to tape. Augmented on this occasion by what I can only describe as blistering but sympathetic lead guitar work throughout from another unknown:

Here's one. Suits my mood , currently in quarantine having left home for work. A splendid cover of a great number.
(A spot of inevitable double-tracking with the guitar but it is a video after all) They hit the modulation at the end perfectly. Aye

Love it, especially Georges the smirk "And at the first time that she done , she done me good" bit @2 :09 :) (Yoko reference )
Shame they never showed Billy Preston on the organ.. Wrong colour, wrong time. Times change,, ...Slowly

An all time fave of mine. Thanks for the post 👍
