Viper Flex Hack

So the back stock rest on the Viper Flex Styx is wide to enable all manner of stocks to rest in it and to this end my Sako S20 has a bit of wobble to it .
I’ve taped on some pipe insulating foam to the inside of the upper parts to narrow the gap ( less side ways wobble ) just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation and came up with a different solution ?
Considering moulding Sugru to mine for a custom fit .

Yes, learn to hold your rifle better, the v in the rear sticks should only be supporting the weight you should be pulling the but stock tight into your shoulder and cheek and should not notice any side movement. This will also help woth recoil management and muzzel flip.

Aye a get that and I do that the deer on the ground are testament to that, so this isn’t about shooting techniques or skills it’s about what I originally asked .

Hi Larry, sorry for resurrecting your old thread but I came across it and was wondering if you seen this “viperfix” rear yoke replacement?

Looks like a decent solution so thought I’d drop it in here incase anyone else with an s20 is looking for an option

Yeah really helpful that.
Why even bother answering when all you are doing is trying to be clever.

You would be surprised, I've used my viper flex with a xlr carbon stock, it dosent fit in the v very well at all, but with a bit of technique I don't notice it and van shoot it well

Fitted one to my vipers, it does improve the fit to the stock.
Worth the money and easy to fit
