If you can hang on a couple of weeks, there is the British Shooting Show at Stoneleigh, there are always bargains to be had at the stands especially with reloading gear.

Think I hold the record for the most expensive powder ever purchased. I ordered 2 kilos of n130 from a local RFD,not asking a price being desperate to get on with working up a load for my then new .222,came in at £100/kilo. Fairly puts up the price of reloads. Think I must have paid the hazmat and shipping for his whole order.
Couldn't be arsed to confront him about it,but won't be ordering anything else from him. On the other hand,my other RFD gave me 100 46gn Winchester bullet to try out as an alternative to Blitzkings. I know where I'll be going next time I need anything.

Potters in Tunbridge Wells charged me £100 for 1kg of N140, 100 x 30 cal bullets (150 grn Interlocks) and 200 x CCI 200 primers. Can't remember the exact breakdown but the powder can't have been much more than £70 of it (probably less).

That was 12 months ago.

I left Germany in 2008 but as I recall all powder, regardless of manufacture was supplied in 1lb containers.
