Guys,
just a quick reminder about the dangers of frozen water.
on our shoot yesterday one of the guns dogs disappeared, which it often does for a few minutes, more a pet than gun dog. so no great problem, until someone shouted its in the lake, not to worried until we realised it had gone through the ice.
luckily it was only about 20yds from the bank, we managed to carry out small boat around and break the ice to free the dog.
it could have so easily been a different outcome.
