Waterproof beating trousers

Look for a decent pair of waterproof trousers mainly for beating but other days out as well. Atm I wear over waterproof trousers while I can’t knock them as they have been good, they do tend to slip down now and then. Around the £100 budget. The shooterkings seem to get good reviews on here, any other makes to look at?
Thanks

Shooterking silva are excellent. I think the other version they do is slightly thicker material so maybe better suited to brambles whilst beating.

Currently the Shooterking Silva are going for just unf £90 to about £160

these were the cheaper of those I found

I have a pair of shooterking venartu trousers an they are great trousers for stalking an beating but not 100% waterproof, if walking through wet cover you will have wet knees. My old harkila pro hunters are still better despite being probably 12 years old.

Are the silva a better option to the venartu? Silva are meant to be 100 % waterproof. Had a look at some you tube videos and the did keep dry in the tests.
The harkila are another level up I guess?

I have no experience with the silva trousers but from memory the venatu trousers were sold as waterproof. The pro hunters are great although I have heard some of the new ones arnt the same quality as was previously the case.

Seeland key point are very hard wearing.
I found these to be the same. Hard wearing and waterproof. Right up to the point when I caught them on a spikey branch and tore a 6inch L shaped hole in them!
As they say, they dont make them like they used to! Nothing seems to last nowadays. Both harkila and seeland stuff I got 10 - 14 yrs ago were way better in quality than todays offerings. But I suppose thats progress for you!

Funnily enough now you mention it my new pair isn’t as hard wearing as my older pair. They do get a hammering during the year mind but they did get scraped up a little quicker than the last pair
