Waterproofing jacket?

Hi,
Are there any very good products on the market that members would recommend for Re-proofing a Rivers West jacket.
Not sure what it’s made of.
I sprayed it once with an aerosol but that wasn’t successful.
The new pup chowed the main zipper a few months ago so cost of that needs taking into consideration when deciding whether it’s worth re-proofing.
Thanks,Ken.

Nikwax products work well for restoring water repellency in my experience; they even have synthetic-fleece-specific options if that’s the material.

I'm not sure how successful you'll be at waterproofing a bonded fleece like the rivers west.Repel may give you a bit of beading but won't fix a perished membrane.Or that what I've found on an old RW smock I had.

Grangers wash and repel, which is a cleaner and proofer in one. If the garment is able to be tumble dried it works well.
