We all care about deer- so why dont we use explosive bullets to kill them quicker ?

Why don't you use explosive bullets to kill deer?

I'm guessing you mean conventional soft nose rounds or copper as opposed to balistic tips/hollowpoints? Which are quite "explosive" on target.

Because alot of people still use the latter to great effect. Certainly I know a bloke who purley uses 130 grain hollow points in his 270. He shoots alot of park deer on an estate owners behalf so does head or neck shots only (helmet chin strap done up for incoming)

Have to remember that the latter isn't overly suitable for a heart and lung shot due to lack of penitration and high meat damage. Have seen the aftermath of a bloke who shot a deer with a varmint style round and it just blew one if it's shoulders out causing horrific injurys.

So can you use "explosive" rounds like you said? Absolutely.

Is it ethical? Depends on the shot placement and your take on head and neck shots.
