Wellies

Had both the camo muck boot and the Tay. The Tay is a little more expensive but has a thicker sole, better insulation and does last a bit longer

I have Muck boot Tay Sport wellies and these are very warm, but lethal (slippery) on hard wet ground ( cleaning the kennels ). Also a lot less comfortable then Aigle Parcours wellies. I have Aigle Parcours and Aigle Parcours Neoprene. Aigle is just much more comfortable to walk all day in them and very nice thight fitting on the ankle and leg. The Le Chameau Vierzon(ord) has stronger rubber but is wider fitting around the ankle, wich I dont like. As said before, it will be personal on the type of leg/foot you have.
The Vierzon(ord) top boot in strenght and comfort but to wide for me. The Aigle Parcours stays my n° 1 anytime. The most comfortable boot I ever used.

Sounds like a possible problem with durability of certain models of Muckboot to me?

I would agree, I don't know the model of the first pair, I like them, they are comfy and fit my fat calfs just fine. I think a pair of Tays may be looked at when I visit Midland game fair

Sorry but its Le Chameau all the way. I'm on year 12, they look like they have splits etc and are very worn but no water gets n at all, they are light and warm (make sure your wellies fit properly).

I'm not worried about the cool zip, i just go for neoprene. Heard mixed views on the leather lined ones but never had a complaint on neoprene.
