Welsh grouse moors

I moved across Herefordshire last year to the borders, and have been spending my Sundays exploring the more remote & lumpy bits around here.
Last weekend I went for a walk on Glascwm Hill (only 20mins from home but seemingly delightfully remote), and was surprised when I got there to see signs on gates regarding grouse management and grouse butts on the tops. A bit more googling revealed a few more mentions of grouse moors around here, but not a lot of info.

Would anybody be able to put me in touch with anyone involved with the moors please? I fancy a bit of grouse beating but not the drive north!

Hi mate. Just come across this post. Ireland Moor above Gladestry/Painscastle. They are increasing the grouse numbers at the moment so running as a partridge shoot over the same ground. Pm me if you want to know more.
