I was relieved that the heat fixed my vid cams ailments and headed out knowing that after schitty weather all day and more tonight that they would probably be out and about earlier than the usual after dark appearances.
A calf with no idea stood in an opening and was easily spotted,the hind was mostly obscured though.
Then a ratty little stag stood out all wet and dark like a beacon and I stood on the drivers side door and videoed him over the roof.
Unsteady yes,no tripod reduces th standard enormously.
I moved on and a decent hind trotting through bush suddenly propped like a stone which gave me time to video her too,this time out of the window,hand held..
