Wet tumbler recommendations???

I’ve been using my Frankfort Arsenal light model (smaller and cheaper, same design) for a few years. It still takes a couple of hundred 6.5 cases with ease.

highly recommend them. A small squirt of washing up liquid hot water and a spoonful of citric acid. 20 minutes with deprived cases they are clean inside and out. 40 minutes if you like them very shin. Muddy or very dirty brass may take a little longer to get clean initially.

Almost forgot 1 lb of ss pins is enough 👍

Hi, hope forgive my cheek, but I wonder if you would do me a big favor and do some measuring of the Frankford Arsenal drum.
I specifically need the diameter of the rollers, and the spacing of them.
I would be very greatful for your assistance with this.
Many thanks, Bob

I have a frankford arsenal platinum. I got it new from ebay but it came from USA tax paid. Saved a fortune. If you get one this way you need to ensure its a 240v version and not 110v as they have in the USA.

Been faultless for a few years now. It came with stainless steel pins.

Bob,

Sorry mate, I’ve not being paying any attention to this thread. I’ll post the dimensions later today when I get home.

Bob,

Sorry mate, I’ve not being paying any attention to this thread.
Here are what you asked for:

The Axles are 13cm apart Centre to Centre
Wheels are 15cm apart C to C
The Wheel Diameter is 36.3mm

Just rereading, the dimensions above are from the motor unit not the drum.
If it’s the drum data please repost.

Sorry for the delay

Thanks bud.

im in the same boat looking at a wet tumbler seen this on amazon the Frankford arsenal platinum for £190 with pins but its 110 volt but with a 300 w 240 to 110 dropper still comes in at £225

is it worth messing around with it or better getting the uk "lite " one ? and getting pins etc on top which works out more expensive ?

I got the USA version and a step-down box tkk on convert the voltage.

It’s great and works out a lot cheaper than the equivalent UK voltage version 🤷‍♂️

@kaboom I have a US 110v Lite that was dirt cheap off Amazon even with the transformer👍 Great item - thoroughly recommend them (I’m a convert from ultrasonic cleaning baths).

Edit: @palmer_mike and I both posted at the same time - proof :tiphat:

Hi bud, thanks for the info, but it is the drum data I need.
Cheers, Bob

Well, about 80 odd 284 brass and 5lb pins, don't bother with the salad spinner, not enough free space in tub below rotating cage.
