Hi all
I shot a sika yearling today and it appeared fine in all respects. No enlarged lymph nodes and lots of fat on the animal. However i did notice something i have not seen before. Basically there are about 4 or 5 of these on the inside of the lung cage. They appear to be fatty deposits and have the appearance of white tick for all intents on purposes. The lungs of the animal were in fine shape apart from one very hard spot about the size of a nail on your little finger. The spot was like a stone and black in outside colour. I went through all the lymph nodes to ensure there was no infection and could fine nothing out of the ordinary.
Kidneys , heart and liver were all fine as well.
