country for now, great big warehouses were i used to go ferretting and poking about with a 410 as a kid ,town fast making inroads into the countryside

3 miles from town, a mile from nearest village,
I went to see a mate tonight 4.5 miles away, and worked out there are only about a dozen houses between us,
are we neighbours?

The city of Aberdeen - Energy capitol of Europe.
No tbad though as far as cities go as you are out in the wilds within a few minutes and in the city we have roe deer, foxes, bades, ospreys and the like. Flushed a woodcok yesterday morning when I let the dogs out.

City life is not all that bad.................

Hmmm difficult as it says we are in the village, the sign for it is up the road but somehow I thinks that's the parish sign...confusing. The Post office which is in the village itself is 2 miles away. Nearest town is 8 miles neighbours are 3-400 yards away have fields all round so I would say rural but are we in the village or not?

Linconlshirre villages are very spread out.

When I moved here 40yrs ago it was a small rural market town, now we don't have a livestock market:( and the town has grown nearly tenfold:shock:

Grafham village, 1 pub nothing else apart from a great big pond about 125 houses surrounded by fields owned by my boss, go out front door jump on quad and go down the field to work, or out the back door on the quad and go to work,,,,yes go to work by field and come home the same way sometimes infact most of the time bloody late at night. and i wouldn't have it any other way.
