what id like to know is, who the f*&k decides what is and is not a suitable round for foxes, during my 10 year stint of another well known shooting forum there were plenty of talk about different police forces allowing different calibers for foxes, when i got my licence for 22lr and hmr i rang my FEO up just to be on the safe side to ask if it was ok to shoot foxes with my hmr, i was sternly told that the hmr was not suitable for foxes and id have to use a CF, and that i was not allows to shoot foxes anyway as i only had vermin down on my ticket, having spoken to a few people, ex police officer who is now a gun shop owner said the women i spoke to is a bit of a **** and a tree hugger who is not fit to do her job, and id have to wait a year before applying for a 223 for fox. whay cant they put thete heads together and all sing from the same sheet, how can say west yorkshire not allow rimfire for fox, yet north yorkshire can, words fail me
