Which .22-250?

So would use recommend avoiding the Bergara stoke with it's 20" barrell?

If you want to get the most from a 22.250 you need to be looking at a 24inch barrel at least.much less than that you might aswell stick to the 223.
My original howa had a. 24inch barrel and when it was shot out...at around 2500 rounds of was rebarreled with a heavy 26 inch barrel.

Combine this with a Sierra 1365 55gr bullet, it's devastating on anything out to 300 yards.
On roe it drops on the spot, and taking a slightly higher shot, bits of the heart and lung exit with the bullet. The is some blood bruising on the shoulder but for a deer to drop on the spot gives a lot of confidence.

As another example, try the same bullet/speed combo on hardox steel at 100 with 3 shots.
Try the same with any 223, 6.5x55, 308.

No better hardox killer than a softpoint bullet from a 22250.

Pressure?

CIP Pmax for 22-250 is 4050bar, while it's more than some cartridges with oldish history, e.g. 223 Pmax is 4300bar.

I also went with a howa 1500 i over the t3. The t3’s only come with 20” barrels and I wanted longer to get the most out of the round. With the money I saved I dropped it into a GRS stock to help with adjustability for NV rig. I use the 50gr vmax’s and it shoots them very very nicely!

Case volume for 223 is 49 cm2. With 22-250 there is 74 cm2. So more powder and need for longer barrels with the latter. Ideal (opimal) for 223 is 19 cm and for 22-250 29 cm. From this follows that the 22-250 is much heavier if going for close to the optimal. Using my 26 cm 22-250 mainly for fixed position shooting as it a struggle to move around. However, the 22-250 will deliver longer sucessful shots. Would not go for t3's as too short barrels.

Not all T3's have 20 inch barrels. Certainly i have seen Roughtech models with 24 inch ones.
I really don't think anyone would argue a 29 cm barrel was optimal for a 22-250, nor 19 cm for a .223.
Not sure your case volume figures are correct, either
