Wild Duck pond flighting

Hi, so I have been feeding up a pond for the past couple of months now with great results and duck numbers building up nicely, I haven't shot the pond as of yet but I am planning on doing in the next month or so.
My question is what would be the best way to shoot the pond? I am wanting to do night flighting but with them being fed so well and it being a nice place out of the way for them they are on there all day and night I have heard that you shouldn't shoot them walked of the pond if your feeding it and should walk them off first thing in the morning or a couple of hours before you shoot the pond and get them coming back in. I was wondering if anyone has any experience what the best time to walk them off is for the best results.

Walk them off before 10am and they should flight back fine. I always leave a few to flight back in after the first few groups have been fired at. It will mean that they will return quickly as lured by the ones not shot. Ideally do not stand too close to the pond as you can then pull out easily. This also means that you will get more sporting targets as well

I flash them off the ponds and the lads shoot them a field away

They can be very easy to shoot if you are shooting them coming into the pond - if you are well hidden - so moderation can be required.

as above. push of am or at least 3 or 4 hours before shooting it.

i have the same issue on 1 pond where they are on it half an hour after walking them off it. i may have to only feed it just before nightfall so there is no food on it during the day. its trial and error. have fun.
