I spoke with them last week. Ben said there is still restructuring going on. He gave me current purchase prices which suggests they are buying. Collections are only likely to be weekly. I've never dealt with them before but was looking round for a dealer. Unfortunately their previous business dealings may prevent me from dealing with them.
So if anyone has other dealers they are using I would be grateful of their details. Thanks.

I'm afraid the office is only manned sporadically at the moment due to operating on a skeleton staff while some changes are made. I'm aware that many of our suppliers use this forum and would like to spread the word that we are looking to get things up and running here again for the start of August under new ownership, I will still be managing the plant.

Thank you for your call last week, Mid Shires Foods, the current owners of the site/plant have not gone bust and I can assure you that anyone who is still owed money for venison will be paid up in full. I'm not sure who you are refering to regarding non-payment of carcases but if there is some confusion I would be happy to clear it up.

I sold willo 6 hinds earlier in the year just before they entered their current difficulties. I had a number of calls to them about the situation and was eventually fully paid. I was clearly pleased to receive it and to a certain extent surprised, as these days I am used to people behaving with less honour. I hope for their sake that they are able to survive and thrive.

To be honest I phoned you after reading many posts on here of previous happy customers, so was quite surprised when talking to my mate that he was never paid for a good number of carcasses. I don't know all the ins and outs of the situation your company has been through.
However if you are able to honour the payments that may well change peoples perspective.
I have amended my post as I see you are trying to get things up and running and hopefully will be able to sort things out with old customers, so I feel I should try to help rather than hinder.
I shall give you a call this week and discuss the detail.
