Hospital beds full now, it’s going to get grim
Nah - silly old Mike L.
Haven’t you heard that as a prelude to revising the NHS (in only 3 sorry 10 years time) Liebour has come up with this wizard idea of “Mobile Wards”?
Now call me old-fashioned but I am sure that in a time not so very far, far away they were once called ambulances….

In the 1980s and 1990s health authorities all over England were saying we don't need all these sub acute community beds and closing wards and hospitals, so stupid now there is nowhere to empty non acute patients in acute beds too, councils are closing their care facilities now it's all a recipe for crisis.

starmer and co can shove my winter fuel allowance up their ar*&"s, this must be the only country in the world which treats its elderly like sh*t bs
Most non Western countries have multiple generations living together in one house. We choose to either move out or leave our elderly in their own homes alone or put them in a care home.

That'd be when who was it that was Prime Minister?

You don't know you're living pal
There are loads of places where old folk are far worse off than here
Try Russia for a start, and even the USA has loads of places where old folk are far worse off than here

Cheers

I'm not thinking so, unless you're counting people that are homeless (which is overwhelmingly based on their own, often bad, decisions).
