Wolves in FOD

Yesterday afternoon I discovered a wolf in Station Road, Rainham, Kent. To be very precise, it was in the Railway P.H. and as a shooting man I thought I should find out all I could about it. This variety was a "ravening wolf", initially found near the wantsum brewery, but had migrated to the Weatherspoons area.

I should have known better. As soon as I tried one, the pack appeared and attacked me. Numbers had it, I am afraid, but I did go down fighting !

A couple of years ago I used to regularly meet a chap with his Czech Wolf Hound in the FOD, extremely well behaved and often off the lead.
Might it have been this dog or similar?
Some of the GSD’s, especially the paler Sable coats can often look very wolf like.

It sounds rather like the " wild big cats " sightings that I consider to be unproven !

To be ignored until proven is my theory on this.

So now there have been sightings of wolves on the FOD.
Appears individual wolves have been seen on several occasions over the last few weeks.

Any constructive thoughts from the SDF collective?
D
I am afraid there probably won’t be any constructive thoughts. Personally I think they just saw big foot on holiday walking his dog, rumour has it they are off to see Nessie next weekend.

Leopard DNA has been found in Cumbria, is that enough proof ?
Not for a sensible person. One sample has been found but not of good enough quality to definitively identify the big cat species. Given the possibilities of lab contamination or error, I would definitely not consider one sample definitive, in the total absence of any other plausible evidence.
If a leopard is living around there, it's not going to be vegetarian the rest of the time. There ought to be more kills found.
