Wolves in FOD

When it comes to the FOD you would be safer in the wolf enclosure at the zoo naked with spam secured to your family jewels than you would be on a night out with the locals in Coleford or Cinderford!

Bugger the wolves mind the locals!
After spending many a night out in coleford as my local, I hate to say it your right 😂🤣🍺

be careful, even here in Italy there were initially sporadic sightings of wolves which people didn't give any importance to or laughed at the unfortunate person who reported them, then over the course of about twenty years there was a demographic explosion of this animal with very serious damage both to wildlife and especially to livestock, even citizens arriving in the hinterland to prey on dogs and cats because they are simpler and more available than wild boars and various deer sightings of wolves with dark colors which are the Nordic ones, only to then discover that environmentalist bodies have received large sums of money both from private individuals and from European and Italian public institutions to reintroduce the canid, my advice if it ever happens, shoot them all down otherwise you will you will find, like us, pastoralism now over due to the continuous attacks on flocks and herds Lead is the only solution if the sighting is true

Hilarious BBC report where the lady witness tells of a herd of deer being chased, she'd expected to see a wild boar or a polecat ffs!" I used to have a bad tempered polecat but at 10 inches long she'd probably not have tackled a herd of deer!

30 odd years ago, my then girlfriends brother kept timberwolf x gsd crosses for film work. They had a strong prey drive which was not good for some of his other livestock. As I recall he did not persevere with that particular option, although the business remains very successful.
Given the mentality of certain "dog" owners it would not surprise me if there are still timberwolf crosses out there. But given the ability of the general public to misidentify species it was probably a labradoodle!
Although I like the suggestion that it was another boar!

More than likely someones German Shepherd or Malamute dog running free.
Oh dear, remember that American wummin' that shot and skinned a wolf that turned out to be a Husky?

My view on all these exotics is that they are not out there as one of us would have whacked one by now.

If I was 10 inch's long I'd probably be chasing a load of old dears !!

A couple of years ago I used to regularly meet a chap with his Czech Wolf Hound in the FOD,

Met one of these outside the Coop in Moffat the other day with his street living owner. Even my teckel gulped when he stood up to have a sniff. Magnificent beast he was too, I wouldn't fancy having wild things that looked like that living near me and I doubt any livestock would too.

There is a lot of us here, who would like to give you some (or all) of our wolves if you want some. Just think about how it would be a positive addition to your biodiversety.
Look at the sweet puppies.
The local farmers around here would be delighted if you would take them  , and the famous British naturists would really like to cuddle and protect them, (while they are small:lol:).
