Thought I’d give Yew Tree’s 112gr hunting bullets a try, should be ok based on my initial 12 round test batch…

6.5CM, initial load 50 though off the lands and started as per @Yew Tree Fieldsports load data, just to see how they shot…

3 shot groups again as much to see what they were chrono’ing at and see how they shot (just in case of a lead ban! )

Still a bit slow most likely so will try a few higher charge weights before increasing the jump. Not bad at just over a 3/4” group though.

One this that was surprising - I was shooting into a soil/gravel bank and dug 5 of the 12 out and there was some significant lumps of copper left! I’ve said it before - would want one of these bouncing off into the horizon!

They need to be going a lot faster I think 2700-2900fps and big jump improves accuracy I have found 120-140thou is not unusual yes 3mm!!
