MeAdmit it, who else came here thinking there would be an amusing limerick?
Welcome Abigail
Too right, it's right at the top of our beautiful sunny Wales! Unfortunately, I hail from a family full of contented townies in this urban part of the world. Think Mr. Stork may have dropped me off to the wrong family sometimes!Welcome, sadly the land of VSS & Mouse a bit far. For those not familiar with God's own country, Torfaen is hours from the Llyn. Still Mouse would be a big help to you as a source of information.
David,
Wow thank you so much! I will drop you a PM now!Welcome to the site.
Not sure where you are based, but drop me a PM and I will see if we can get you out on a free outing with us this winter.
Yes strange how the words "young lady" gets such a tremendous response.Welcome, bet you are not without invites soon! Steve![]()

If I was 6,3 I think I would do modelling on the sideYes strange how the words "young lady" gets such a tremendous response.
The reality is that "she" is the 6' 3" 17 stone grandson of Graeme Price and plays prop for Talywain and who identifies as a female.![]()
Torfaen is in South Wales as is Monmouthshire. Welcome from there. Not sure where you are based
My father is a Crumlin boy! He lived on the hill just across from that road. (you can see the old house from that road). Well if you need a pair of hands in august I would love to take a trip up! (my mother is in Monmouthshire so I'm fairly familiar with the area)Abi there are several site members who hail from Torfaen (I hate those unitary authority/C.B.C. titles and much prefer the proper old county name of Monmouthshire) and I am sure that someone will come along and be able to assist you.
Unfortunately the ground that I stalk which isn't too far from you has mainly fallow which are out of the season until 1st of August (bucks). Over the last two years roe have also moved in but they are in small numbers and not causing any problems so they are being left alone for the time being.
P.S. My mother's family was from Crumlin and lived on the second most air polluted road in the U.K. (Houses soon to be demolished - at long last) .

Welcome Abigail
Brilliant! There was a young girl from Torfaen,
At 5'8" with red hair she looked fine.
She was looking for deer,
Everyone wished she lived near,
But it was actually Dai down the mine!!
