Rubber Bolt Knob.

both will require the existing bolt to be turned down and threaded....so a gunsmith or talented lathe operators job. Will cost you, but it depends who does it.

I have also heard some not too pleasent things about Roedale and as a result I would think very seriously before buying anything from them.

http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=65383920

Look for the post from Roedale of 13th April this year. Best not to jump to conclusions about people. Seems like he has had an awful few years and is making the best of it now.

I miss the oversize knob on a previous old Tikka. It was good to have an oversize knob at least for a short time in my life . I'd be interested in buying one for an old Sako.

Jagare

How do we get these sent/brought over here?.........i'll take 3 to begin with, and will possibly get orders off one or two other folk once they've handled them.
Alot cheaper and easier than having a tactical knob fitted by a gunsmith.....and if the rifle ever gets changed the rubber one can be swapped over and no further costs incurred..bonus!!

I'm most grateful to you for following this up!!

cheers

Hi Jagare, I'd be in for at least three of these if you would consider getting some for the chaps that are interested. I'd be willing to act as an intermediary in this country (for nowt) to save postage hither and yon. PM me if you wish.

Regards

Gareth

Hej Gareth i suppose it would be cheaper to send several in one go than to post them individually if i will put a post and find out how many i need to buy in total.

Gareth, I didn't order one but would probably give one a try if the price was right and you end up with any spare. If you do then drop me a message, if not then its no problem. Best wishes, JC.

Jagare and Zaitsev -

Many thanks to you both for putting this together. Mine arrived in today's post and is already on the Remington. It's an excellent, tight fit and really makes a huge improvement in the business of palming the bolt up and back and forth. I was going to take a pic and post a thread 'A picture of my knob', but on balance felt such juvenile behaviour ought to be beyond me at my age.

I still may succumb to temptation...

Kevin........show us yer knob!!!....hahahah

Jagare and Zaitsev..

Much appreciation goes your way for sorting us all out with bigger knobs!!.....I can't wait to put mine to good use!!

It just goes to show what a great bunch of chaps we all are when we can sort each other with stuff like this.

Cheers guys!!
