The EU in or out

I am well old enough to remember before the Common Market. Since the 70's this country to my mind has gone way downhill.
The thing that really annoys me is the amount of people who always look on the downside and are terrified to have a go,stand on their own two feet and give it their best shot to make Britain Great again.
Now there are too many people on this Island and too many on the State benefit system, both indigenous and otherwise. We can't afford any more and we can't afford other stupid ideas such as HS2 (saving just a few minutes at exorbitant costs). It is about time we did exit and go it alone despite the whingeing politicians who say we can't make it.
Rant over Out.

sauer, I suspect you would also say whilst out stalking.... shall I....shall I not...shall I, oh..oh it's gone.. too late, make your decision, whatever side of the arguement you are on, then at least you can say you voted, and was counted!

Thought this could do with an injection of lightness although actually, the quality of discussion seems to be improving slowly.

David Cameron in a nightclub:
"It's crap here. The music's rubbish. Entrance is really expensive. It stinks. It's too busy. The drinks are warm. It's too hot. The girls are minging. The decor's dire. And you're all bad dancers.
...

What will you give me if I stay?"

We will allow you to knock 5% off the VAT on a packet of Tampons.

Nope!

More like oh aye , in the freezer !

Seriously tho I'd make a decision if I could get a straight answer out of the tsunami of p1sh going around about pros n cons

Was same with the independence referendum all smoke n mirrors no real info

I like to try to make informed decisions rather than stab in the dark

Try to anyway

+1 - I also think likewise

The choice is not complicated or difficult.

If you are happy to have your laws made and your borders controlled from Brussels vote IN.

If you want your laws made in London and our borders controlled from London vote OUT.

Simple.

OUT

Astonishing....so many views and only very few can be bothered to register their voting inclination. Why is that?
It would be much more interesting to have much greater input on this 'Straw poll'
Just my thoughts...

Just had letter from the LEAVE.EU campaign. They suggest a contribution of £30, I'll send them £100.

I've got some mains electric work happening on my place at the moment and the contractors have damaged a fence post and some rails. It was part of an old utilities pole and was rotted anyway. They said they would replace it, but I told them that I would use part of one of the poles that was coming down, "Can't do that, it's 'controlled waste' ". I was told. Thank you, EU.
