Really nice!!! Are you going to leave it at 57mm or recut to 62mm? A great calibre and perfect for the woods. Holts can cause severe problems to my mind at times and I imagine is how Alice felt going down the rabbit hole!
Well done! Karamoja
Well done, I'm sure you've saved yourself lots of money and hassle compared with a rebarreling job.
It was a very tempting rifle interesting calibre as well I believe that short shoulder can cause head spacing issues, but never played with one
I've got a Husky M146 in 9.3x57. Superb shooter despite me leaving the iron sights in place. I regulated the load to match the sights with 289 gr PPU SPRN bullets. It spits them into a ragged hole at 25M and about 1.5" at 100 when my eyes work. Nice rifle. I also have two Model 648 in 8x57. All nicely made.~Muir
Ok. Was it bullets or brass?? No matter. Still haven't caught the trading post manager in his office to get that paperwork. Weather sucks anyhow. Showed your (.58) rifle to a friend last night. He pined over it for a while before I plucked it from his grasp and pushed him out the door.Speak of the Devil , I completely forgot about your bullets , I'll bring them with me when I come down .
