Graf & Sons has the Hornady dies in stock. And they sell Prvi and other bullets, and have an shop somewhere in the UK or Europe, because I got my 8x60S brass from them, shipped from over there, very reasonable pricing.

Ok. I found that. I've used them to make a 6-cavity 303 Brit mold to my specs and some custom gear for 25-20. I have the Hornady 9.3 dies. Had problems and got some replacement parts. Have worked fine since then. Graf: I spend a lot of money with those guys! ~Muir

Very nice rifle! I agree about looking at the Holts auction catalogue. Been tempted several times but resisted so far. Did you buy it "unseen" or go and have a look?

Regarding threading for a moderator, Zaitsev advertised a Mauser on here recently (https://www.thestalkingdirectory.co...6591-Custom-FN-Mauser-9-3x62?highlight=9.3x62) which had be threaded but had a front sight on the thread protector which was indexed to always be in the right place - might be worth considering?

Are you going to try paper patching soft soft lead bullets as an alternative to using jacked expanding for hunting? I'm planning to try this in my 9.5 x 57 MS 1910.

That's an interesting idea , you could keep the front sight in it's original position . Your 9.5 is a very handy piece of work . An acquaintance of mine just spent a considerable amount building one on a pre-war Mauser Sporter . He guides for Coastal Brown Bear in BC . After a lot of thought , he decided this was what he needed . A very capable cartridge . I thought about building one too , but I have a 358 Win , a 9.3X57 and a Marlin in 45/70 , so it seemed a bit redundant .............. that being said , if I run into a MS like yours , I'll buy it in a heart beat lol . A very cool rifle , I'm envious .
