Junkers et al will be having our pants down large from 2020 and as they make us squeal they will be saying to the rest of the EU "look see, this is what will happen if you leave the EU"

Again, not really an answer. Did the standard Leaver's pre-referendum risk assessment genuinely amount to no more than "Well, what could possibly go wrong if we leave?"

we should all take the British lead and disband this merry band of thieves we call the EU. Most countries would be better off. especially the smaller ones that are being explored by the bigger ones.
Portugal for example only needs a proper government that looks out for the people and economy rather than try to rob them both.
How is it that the country with the third largest Exclusive economic zone in the EU (second now after Brexit), the eleventh largest in the world have a fishing fleet and fishing industry in tatters. Its practically non existent after we entered the EU and had to give up our rights to larger fleets, so now we are on EU welfare and eating more fish!! FFS! I'm talking about an area of 1,727,408 square kilometres (666,956 sq mi) of Atlantic!!!!!
You guys are spot on in getting the fark out. Bloody thieving buggers in Brussels can fark off.
It might cost a bit in the beginning but it will get better thats for sure, you guys are usually very good at negotiating deals and treaties and such. good on yas.

How, if we are out can he impose a fine and to whom does he send it?
Times may be tough for a while but the blame for this falls as usual on the politcos who signed us up to this rediculous situation?

Ie. The UK.
Personally, I enjoy the cultural differences within the EU and wish them well in the future but being governed by the unelected?

I've long thought that it isn't worth voting for what you want, you won't get it. Vote to stop what you don't want.

I think Heseltine is losing his marbles these days. He seems to be happy to babble the most extraordinary stuff about anything to anyone recently. First, the alsatian incident, secondly his brexit opinions (some of which, fair enough - but he did have some obligations that went along with his jobs), then the latest about how the EU wothout Britain means the Germany gets to win WW2, along with a rather odd interview about how much cash he made after leaving the cabinet 30odd years ago. Most peculiar. I'm not sure the media is doing much to respect the dignity of an old man by soliciting and publishing his opinions any more.
