Galloway Field Sports audio discs

Does anyone have these DSC1 audio disks that would be willing to rent/lend/sell them please?

I have been reading the damn manual till I'm bug-eyed and still cant find some of the answers to the questions and now I'm running out of time, I am doing the UDD on-line training, but ridiculously (IMO) when you check your answer it only says you are right or wrong and does not give you the correct answer so you can LEARN! Then you must register your answers and do the whole thing again maybe to find only a couple of incorrect answers, its a bit bloody draconian if you ask me.

I am fast running out of time as the opportunity to take the DSC came up at short notice and I took it not realising the amount of work I had to put in and the last exams I sat were my O-Levels 50 years ago!

Try the BDS online training, the questions were spot on for DSC1 and I did mine with Paul

You are right, this is the UDD Training I refer to to, Ive had another look at it just now and what I didnt realise is that when you get a question wrong, it does actually give you the correct answer for next time, so I may be ok after all, thanks for pointing it out.

Stupidly I'm getting my knickers in a right twist over this bloody test, who would have thought it at my age? What a prat LOL

Hi Ozalid,

I think youll find that the CD's are protected and will only work on the computer they are first registered with you will probably be better buying one from the BDS or BASC I may be wrong but thats how they used to be

CDs are not protected, I dropped the files on to a usb stick and played them through the car audio.

Thanks Doug, I just haven't left myself enough time for the studying, which I didn't realise would be so much and what I am finding is that under pressure I am having difficulty in retaining the answers.
To be honest, while I am sure it is nice to know all the dates for seasons etc, I don't think anyone in their right mind would set out for a days stalking, not knowing well beforehand what you were hunting for! It just doesn't make sense to me, however, there is lots of other interesting and very useful information in the training manual, I just wish I had time to enjoy reading it...

As Doug said "dont panic". If i can do it anyone can. I used the ultimate deer data disc on my laptop. It gave you the correct answers if you got it wrong. I think you can get it from the BDS.

Try not tot get too wound up over the test.

Most assessors are very helpful during the course, and all of the relevant questions are gone through prior to sitting the papers. Besides you do not have to get everyone correct.
