The First product to hit the market is the F280 Titanium
Designed and built in Norway, these moderators answer all the major questions asked of a centrefire moderator


"Light?" - 280gr with an even lighter featherweight version coming in Mar/Apr 2018
"Small?" - Tapered design 44-49mm outside diameter, 215mm long, 125mm forward of muzzle
"Efficient?" - A modest rating of 28-30 Db attenuation through close bore to calibre tolerance and baffle design
"Resilient?" - no gas cutting, first baffle and shroud is machined from Titanium. No need for extra steel baffles or longevity concerns.
"Expensive?" - RRP of £325, right in the middle of the Premium Hard Wearing Steel and Light Alloy moderators.
Significantly below any other Titanium moderator
"Will it mark my barrel?" - No! No bush required, tapered design and different sized rear section to accommodate sporter or heavy/varmint barrel profiles.

What is the recoil/ muzzle flip reduction like on these?.. I notice the internal muzzle brake.....
Any videos of one in action on a 'proper caliber' like the .270 so we can get an idea of performance?

i am looking for a new mod for my br? this is something i like the look off, and i love the slopping rear area of the mod as it gets shot of that horrible straight edge rear facing surface,

Its very good, difficult to quantify by feel but we are soon to be running a back to back test on the market offerings including the new F&D featherweight version.
Am just waiting on the delivery like a child on Christmas eve!

Got one on my 7mm Remington Magnum (if that’s a proper caliber in your book ) and is brilliant

7mm rem mag.....That's a good test for any mod .

The reason I ask about recoil and flip is because I'm looking for a mod that will reduce them without having to resort to a heavy one, as I have a light and short barrelled 7x57 and it can be jumpy.
I have a jet z but its too long and heavy so I'm currently running an atec maxim.

They do mention easy strip down for cleaning which is a good idea - so if you remove it & clean it after using it & then store it back on the rifle - problem solved. - No barrel corrosion.

Titanium rear threaded section/first baffle

After having a look at a table of galvanic reactor metals, If I were storing on the muzzle, absolute dryness would need to be assured. However, these look exceedingly well designed, & I would have one, but I would stick with the regime of muzzle thread cap.

They look very nice and lightweight. I might even go over to the dark side and put one on my Heym. And the packaging looks as if should contain a fine bottle of Malt.
