The right scope and bipod for the new setup - opinions please

Have a look at the V6 zeiss x 15 with ASV they are brilliant on clarity and the ASV out to 300 is faultless on mine and a pin point variable red dot - pretty damn good bit of kit
On the prone I would rather use a rucksack or roll your rifle slip up, I can feel that bipod digging in your back already on a slog 👍

Went for a Tier one ATAC Bipod and then ran out of pennies for the scope. Cannibalised a Schmidt n Bender 8x56 for now. Going to swap it up after this year's trip to the hinds.

You need to think about height as well. Harris are not my favourite bipods but for this job they are hard to beat. Others are better built but are bulky etc.

You keep your rifle in the slip (partially open) drag that across the heather in one hand and only slip the rifle out at the final shooting position. You can keep lower, crawl more easily and keep the crud out the shooter.

March. Kahles.

Beware the short designs. There is a price to pay. Good luck finding someone who actually has one in stock

March are very popular in the F class world

Have a look at vortex scopes they have a life time warranty. I have the vortex strike eagle 5x25x 56. Illuminated reticle.

Zeiss V6 or V8 to give the mag for longer shots with the ASV turret. Magpul or atlas bipod, fit a pica rail to stock so can clip it on or off if you want to.
