Sierra Tipped Gameking

What do you think the 140 grain 6.5 BT's would be like, run at say 2600 fps?

Should be good for the smaller stuff. I like a bit of oomph for the Sika...

I should have said, heavy for calibre, relatively slow 6.5mm bullets have a bad reputation on Sika in Ireland - runners are common...

I was thinking that although a bit slower than the 120 version that it would still expand enough to kill efficiently. It's either that or 120 Pro Hunter SP.

Hi Paul
Thanks for that. Not exactly singing about it from the roof tops though are they? Nothing about it in their Rifle Bullet list or new products section. Unless of course I am missing something which is always a possibility :-D.

Hi Boydy
Ramshot is $22 a tub in America, £39 at Kranks. Like I said above I am always prepared to accept I am missing something.

I used to buy it at £32/lb so I'm agreeing with you, it's jumped up over 20% since they started restocking it. Economies of scale do come into it though!

It looks like they are being distributed more widely in the US now.

I'm looking forward to trying the 90gr version out in my 6x45, if only to see what velocity I can achieve with N133 and see how they shoot.
