Only a muppet would shoot a revolver with a double handed grip like that. It's fairly obviously a BAD idea. Doesn't make them inherently dangerous. Hold a semi wrongly and it'll take the tip off your thumb!

My other half agrees with your. So it's a 2 shot revolver for me.my wife thinks a semi is a bad thing too
No valid argument for a revolver being better. A semi auto is easier to carry, and can be sound moderated. A sound moderator on a revolver won't work due to the air gap between the cylinder and barrel.I wouldn't think a semi-auto is a good idea, better with a revolver surely?.

Just heard that hampshire are saying that unless you are a vet or registered vermin control company you will not get a pistol for humane dispatch.

Out of interest, if the restricted revolvers have the cylinders welded up, does it have to be reproofed?
Yes and this is the argument I had with the local FEO.....If the issuing Police Force ''stipulate '' it must be restricted and there is work done to the firearms which alters its structure then it must be re-proofed and who pays ????????
alternatively Nylon tamper evident plugs are available which can be used but some forces dont accept these as an adequate means of restriction and this is yet another example of different police forces adopting their own interpretation of the Firearms Act Guidelines for licensing etc
There should be a uniform ( no fun intended ) approach to firearms licensing - That is why the Firearms Act Licensing guidelines were introduced ....
You won’t have in the future I’m sorry to sayI've had Unrestricted 32acp for 30yrs+

It"s Full ACP Auto, don't you remember it?
Police Scotland have basically reverted to threats about the guns you already hold when it comes to knocking you back for a pistol. They make it clear you better not argue the point or they will make life tough for you. Totally ignoring any guidelines and talking utter rubbish, but then lacing it with threats.
RN had a 357mag, that kicked like a muleNo, but you must have got it when I had the 357 Mag revolver.
