For all you pistol lovers, I feel your pain. It's too bad that you can't legally purchase and shoot handguns as you wish. I really enjoy hunting with and shooting handguns. It's almost as hard a thing to master as throwing darts. I have never been really good at pistol shooting, but I can ring a 3" plate and hit a grouse, rabbit, squirrel and the like. I'm giving an open invitation to all who like the art of pistol shooting, if your ever in the Portland, Oregon area, let me know and you can shoot any of my pistols till your trigger finger bleeds. The ammo (easy to get here) is on you. However, if you really insist on having a "dispatch" pistol, a .22 LR with a 40 Gr. solid is the ticket (revolver). If you can't make your "dispatch" with that, then circle back to the rig you downed the beast with and finish it off. I'm going to oil up my Colt police positive .38 S&W in anticipation of many Stalking Directory shooting guests. I have read that the .38 S&W is was well liked in the UK. Come to think of it, a .38 S&W would make a good dispatch gun as well.
