Blocking people

If you had and I had blocked you then I wouldn't be able to see what you are writing so it wouldn't matter! I've got a strangely comfortable 'Ostrich with head in sand' feeling at the moment and I quite like it!
I know just how you feel...Just going through my facebook '' friends'' at the moment.....

Is it like the old blocking/ignore function where you could see they'd posted but you couldn't read it unless someone else quoted it or is it like Facebook where I you just see nothing from them at all?

You see nothing from them, its brilliant. Obviously none of the threads make any sense anymore but, like that girls shampoo slogan, 'its worth it'!

Under my post #36 was the phrase "show ignored content" which when I clicked it re-included your post that I had quoted.

Your actual earlier post had a "you are ignoring this poster" flag included which disappeared when I refreshed the page.

Still I reckon I would rather see everything that is posted even though there are some posters I disagree with some of the time...it would be a pain to miss a post which gave useful information even if it was from an irritating/disagreeable source...

I agree. I learn more from the people I disagree with.

Kind regards,

Carl

That wasn't meant to be funny but I think I might inadvertently been absolutely flipping hilarious there...

Many a true word spoken in jest!

The philosophy is along the lines of "taking the path less trod" you eschew the familiar to broaden your experience...
