What scope do you guys use with your Pard nv007?

I’ve got the original and to be honest I’ve never noticed a halo. Don’t know whether I’m lucky or my dodgy eyes can’t pick it up. Whatever, it’s a fantastic bit of kit.

Okay, I’m probably the same vintage with the dodgy eye syndrome it’s when the scope is on maximum magnification and the XTL on its tightest focus - so we are talking up to 70x mag at 400m - then the beam has to be offset slightly to get the best illumination. Not an issue for me bearing in mind the very reasonable cost of the individual components.

70x mag at 400m is something I’ll never have to contend with, thankfully! 10x on the Delta plus the x2 of the Pard is all I use.

Try a couple of digital mag on the Pard as well. It doesn’t degrade the image much (if at all).

I’ve got a 3-12 sidewinder that works well I mostly leave it on 3 because the pard adds it own zoom. On low mag you get a slightly better FOV . My pad has a 16mm lens
