Yes. Both of my P-H Safari Deluxes have the same, and if you look at images online you will see plenty more like it. It's clearly original. I rather like the style myself.
No shortage of dings and scrapes on it either, I can assure you!

From memory none of my safaris had the Schnabels FE`s.
I have no original stocks left now as they have all been replaced with foreigners.

The view from my everyday "office" is far more mundane.

I have only seen that style on the Safari Deluxe, not the ordinary Safari model.

Ah that explains it then.
I went out for a look last night and as I walked to my ute parked in the drive way I could see that the Western office side had a few rabbits enjoying the green pick towards the cattle yards. Sprinklers are deployed to maintain a green firebreak and of course the wild life love it. There are often Maned Geese picking the green as well as six Masked lapwings.

my safari deluxe has the contrasting for end and white spacer, also repeated on the pistol grip, it was a classic look back in the day, I still like it, and it fits me perfectly, I have a very old Parker Hale catalog somewhere, I'll try to find it and maybe put up some pics, I bet the prices with be an eye opener for some younger stalkers eh.
